anordery

Terms of Service · version 2026-09-11

A small service for stories from the trail.

These Terms govern use of the free, invitation and approval-based Anordery service.

1. Operator and eligibility

The service is operated privately under the public name anordery.comin Finland. Contact: [email protected]. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and receive manual approval before using Journey-owner features.

2. Service

Anordery lets approved users create Journey pages, import routes, privately collect Garmin tracking and Ruuvi sensor data, and optionally publish delayed Journey information. The service is free, experimental, capacity-limited, and may change or stop.

3. Your account and integrations

Keep your password and device credentials private and notify Anordery if they may be compromised. Connect only accounts, feeds, devices, files, and personal data you own or are authorised to use. You remain responsible for complying with Garmin, Ruuvi, map, route, photograph, and other third-party terms and licences.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of your Journey content. You give Anordery a non-exclusive licence to store, process, back up, transform, and display it only as needed to provide the features you choose. You may unpublish content and may request export or deletion. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or unauthorised personal content.

5. Location privacy and publication

Private collection and public publication are separate. Public delayed tracking and public sensor readings each require the Journey owner's separate choice. A delay, approximate location, pause, or hidden day reduces risk but cannot prevent screenshots, copying, inference, or redistribution by other people. Review every setting before a Journey begins.

6. Limits, approval, and suspension

The operator may approve or reject requests, set Journey and device limits, disable paid or external integrations, pause automations, or suspend accounts to control cost, protect the service, respond to risk, or enforce these Terms. Suspension does not itself delete data.

7. Outdoor and AI disclaimer

Anordery is a personal story and planning aid—not navigation, forecasting, rescue, emergency, medical, or official safety advice. Weather, hazard, GPS, sensor, route, and AI-generated information may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Carry appropriate official information and equipment and make your own safety decisions.

8. Availability and responsibility

The service is provided without a service-level commitment. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect losses, missed data, unavailable integrations, decisions made from Journey information, or conduct of third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that Finnish or EU law does not permit excluding.

9. Ending use

You may stop using the service, unpublish Journeys, withdraw publication consent, erase a Journey, or close your account at any time under Privacy controls. Erasure is immediate and permanent; questions can be sent to [email protected]. The operator may end the service or an account with reasonable notice where practical, or immediately for serious security, legal, or abuse concerns.

10. Changes and law

Material changes will receive a new version and may require renewed acceptance. Finnish law governs these Terms, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or your right to use applicable courts and authorities.

Read how personal data is handled in the Privacy Notice.
